Deposit and cancellation policy:

Our confirmation of your stay guarantees your room for you, and guarantees your stay for us. While we appreciate that there may be good reasons to cancel, as a small inn, we require your agreement with the following policy in which you and we share the risk:

A non-refundable deposit of $75 per night is required to confirm your reservation and is charged at time of booking. Should you need to cancel your reservation more than 14 days before your scheduled arrival, we will refund your deposit less a $25 fee. Less than 14 days before your scheduled arrival, no refunds or credits are issued; your entire deposit is forfeited.

Special Dates:

Weekends from September 28 to October 20 require a two night minimum stay (Thursday & Friday, Friday & Saturday, or Saturday & Sunday).

Middlebury Graduation Weekend requires a two night minimum stay (Friday & Saturday or Saturday & Sunday) and all room charges paid by check at time of booking.

Scheduled times:

Arrival & Check in: anytime from 3 – 7 PM. Simply call ahead if you need flexibility (earlier or later).

Dinner: 7 PM (one sitting)

Breakfast: 7:30 AM to 9 AM (open service); Coffee is ready on the sunporch from 7 AM.

Check out & departure: 11 AM

General Policies:

Churchill House is a no-smoking inn. Kindly smoke only outdoors.

We’re sorry that we cannot accommodate any pets at the inn.
