Skiing Churchill House Inn is a great starting point for winter adventures. For starters, cross-country skiiers and snowshoers have access to 50 km of trails right from our front doorstep. Many more, including the Catamount Trail, are just minutes away. For skating or ice fishing there's Lake Dunmore and Silver Lake. For downhill skiers, Middlebury Snow Bowl is less than a half hour, Pico and Killington, 35-40 minutes, Sugarbush 50 minutes and Mad River Glen and Okemo an hour.
